Kamara scored the lone goal in the 1-0 win against Houston on Saturday.

Kamara stepped up and put a penalty kick in the back of the net in the 21st minute for the only score of the match. He totaled three shots during the match making his total 26 for the season. Looking forward, he'll most likely continue to attack and create goal scoring opportunities for the Crew.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kamara (knee) is starting Saturday against Montreal.

Kamara's knee issue wasn't considered serious, and he'll slot right into his regular starting striker spot on the road in Montreal.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kamara is questionable for Saturday's match against Montreal because of a right knee sprain, according to Shawn Mitchell of the Columbus Dispatch.

Manager Gregg Berhalter said he expects Kamara to play, which is certainly good news for the Crew, who would have a very hard time replacing their top goal scorer.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kamara failed to take a shot during Saturday's scoreless draw with the Fire.

The Fire started five in the back in an effort to contain Kamara, which worked out well enough to keep him from scoring in his second consecutive match. Kamara has a fantasy upside as high as anyone else in the league ,but he's started the season off a bit cold. Up next is an April 2 trip to Dallas followed by a trip to Montreal on April 9.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kamara scored a goal on six shots, one on target, in Saturdayís 2-1 loss to Philadelphia.

Kamara, last seasonís joint top-scorer in the league, opened his 2016 scoring campaign with an 87th minute header from a Mohammed Saeid cross. It proved to only be a consolation goal and the Crew remain winless this season, but itís encouraging to see Kamara finding the back of the net. Thatís especially true when you consider that so far this season he has 11 shots, but only three on target. Thereís no denying, however, that he has the talent to turn that around and remains one of the elite options at the position. Heíll hope to score again Saturday when the Crew face a Chicago defense that has allowed five goals in their first two games this season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kamara signed a contract extension through the 2018 season Wednesday.

Kamara will now occupy one of the Crew's roster spots as a Designated Player, joining Federico Higuain. The forward is coming off a staggering 2015 season where he scored 22 goals on 135 shot attempts and managed to assist on another eight. Unsurprisingly, Kamara will be an elite option yet again during the 2016 season as he spearheads the Columbus attack.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kamara will be suspended for Sunday's game against D.C. United.

Kamara has been suspended for yellow card accumulation but will be eligible to return for Columbus' playoff game. In 32 appearances this season, the MVP candidate has 22 goals and eight assists.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kamara took three unsuccessful shots in Saturday's 2-0 win over Toronto.

Kamara came into Saturday having scored four goals in his last three games but only mustered a few errant shot attempts during a disenchanted outing against a weak Toronto defense. It would be hard to imagine the MVP candidate having a similar performance during the regular season finale Oct. 25 against D.C. United.
