Kamara had two shots and scored New England's lone goal Sunday as the Revolution fell to Orlando City 3-1 on the road.

A breakaway instigated at midfield by Kelyn Rowe in the 19th minute ended up at the feet of Kamara, who then made an uncontested run toward Orlando City's net and punched through a right-footed shot past goalkeeper Joe Bendik for the opening score of the match. The goal, his fourth in sixth starts and while donning a New England jersey, finds the forward already ranked the Revolution's No. 2 in scoring behind midfielder Lee Nguyen (five). Meanwhile, Kamara's scoring total for the year now totals nine, which leaves him currently tied for fifth-most in MLS.

Kamara scored one goal on five shots in Saturday's 3-1 win over Columbus.

Kamara was rewarded with a ball that fell in his lap at point blank range due to a communication breakdown by Crew defenders. He also supplied the cross that was turned in for an own goal in the 34th minute, and was an attacking force throughout the game. Kamara is settling in with his new team, with three goals over the last three games.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kamara scored two goals, on four shots in the 3-2 loss to Montreal on Saturday.

Kamara had struggled since being traded to New England, scoring no goals before Saturday’s two, but he now has seven goals on the season. If he has gotten comfortable in the offense of New England, Kamara could have a productive second half of the season.

Kamara is in the starting lineup Saturday against Chicago.

Kamara was traded to New England Thursday and will be instantly inserted into the starting lineup Saturday. He will bring his elite goal scoring to New England still making him one of the best fantasy options at forward.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kamara trained Friday and could make his Revs debut Saturday against the Fire.

With Charlie Davies ruled out with a groin injury and Teal Bunbury questionable with a hamstring issue, Kamara is almost certainly to get some playing time, though it wouldn't be overly surprising if Juan Agudelo gets the start. Kamara is an elite goal scorer in MLS and has plenty of weapons around him in New England.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kamara has been traded to the Revolution in exchange for a first-round pick in 2017, a second-round pick in 2018, an international roster spot, and cash considerations.

Kamara is one of the best forwards in MLS and his acquisition is a major move for New England, who have struggled to get consistent goals from Charlie Davies, Juan Agudelo and Teal Bunbury. With Chris Tierney sending in crosses from the wing, there's no reason to think Kamara's fantasy upside declines.

Kamara has been suspended for Saturday's match against Colorado, according to Andrew King of

Crew head coach Gregg Berhalter decided to suspend Kamara after he made public comments to the media about his on-field spat with teammate Federico Higuain last weekend. While Berhalter said he expects Kamara to stay with the team, there has been plenty of talk that they are looking to offload him, though his high salary and designated player contract won't make it easy.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kamara compiled seven shots, including three on goal, and a pair of scores Saturday as Columbus drew Montreal 4-4 at home.

Kamara not only tallied a game-high seven shots in Saturday's fixture, but also registered his first multi-goal performance of 2016 after finding the back of the net twice in the first half. The 31-year-old from Sierra Leone, who has logged a full 90 minutes in all but one of nine appearances this season, now finds himself tied with Portland's Diego Valeri for third-most shots in MLS and currently leading the Crew in scoring with five goals.
