RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kamara trained Friday and could make his Revs debut Saturday against the Fire.

With Charlie Davies ruled out with a groin injury and Teal Bunbury questionable with a hamstring issue, Kamara is almost certainly to get some playing time, though it wouldn't be overly surprising if Juan Agudelo gets the start. Kamara is an elite goal scorer in MLS and has plenty of weapons around him in New England.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kamara has been traded to the Revolution in exchange for a first-round pick in 2017, a second-round pick in 2018, an international roster spot, and cash considerations.

Kamara is one of the best forwards in MLS and his acquisition is a major move for New England, who have struggled to get consistent goals from Charlie Davies, Juan Agudelo and Teal Bunbury. With Chris Tierney sending in crosses from the wing, there's no reason to think Kamara's fantasy upside declines.

Kamara has been suspended for Saturday's match against Colorado, according to Andrew King of

Crew head coach Gregg Berhalter decided to suspend Kamara after he made public comments to the media about his on-field spat with teammate Federico Higuain last weekend. Kamara compiled seven shots, including three on goal, and a pair of scores Saturday as Columbus drew Montreal 4-4 at home.

Kamara not only tallied a game-high seven shots in Saturday's fixture, but also registered his first multi-goal performance of 2016 after finding the back of the net twice in the first half. The 31-year-old from Sierra Leone, who has logged a full 90 minutes in all but one of nine appearances this season, now finds himself tied with Portland's Diego Valeri for third-most shots in MLS and currently leading the Crew in scoring with five goals.

Kamara scored the lone goal in the 1-0 win against Houston on Saturday.

Kamara stepped up and put a penalty kick in the back of the net in the 21st minute for the only score of the match. He totaled three shots during the match making his total 26 for the season. Looking forward, he'll most likely continue to attack and create goal scoring opportunities for the Crew.

Kamara (knee) is starting Saturday against Montreal.

Kamara's knee issue wasn't considered serious, and he'll slot right into his regular starting striker spot on the road in Montreal.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kamara is questionable for Saturday's match against Montreal because of a right knee sprain, according to Shawn Mitchell of the Columbus Dispatch.

Manager Gregg Berhalter said he expects Kamara to play, which is certainly good news for the Crew, who would have a very hard time replacing their top goal scorer.
