Gomis scored his second goal of the season against Manchester United on Saturday.

Gomis took a team-high four shots during Saturday's surprising victory which proves that he's the main weapon for Swansea at this point in the season. He should have a plethora of opportunities this Saturday against Burnley, a team that is conceding 1.69 goals per match.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gomis has scored just one goal on 21 Premier League appearances this season.

Despite the lack of production in the early goings from Gomis, he's poised for a strong finish as manager Garry Monk is looking for the 29-year-old to lead the attack for the Swans moving forward. Gomis will be looking for his second goal of the season against Manchester United on Saturday, although United is only giving up 0.96 goals per match in Premier League play this season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gomis got off three unsuccessful shots during the 1-1 tie with Sunderland on Saturday.

Gomis will likely have an abundant amount of opportunities in front of the net moving forward this season with the departure of Wilfried Bony, although as it stands, he only has one goal on the season. He'll be looking for his second when Swansea faces West Brom on Tuesday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Swansea's Garry Monk has ruled out any transfer of Gomis during the winter transfer window, according to the Daily Mail.

Crystal Palace was heavily linked with a move for the striker, but it doesn't appear that he will be allowed to leave Swansea until at least the summer after Swansea already sold Wilfried Bony to Manchester City.

Gomis played the full 90 against West Ham on Saturday as he took six shots, one of which was on goal.

Gomis was inserted into the starting XI on Saturday since normal starter Wilfried Bony has left to compete in the Africa Cup of Nations. Normally Gomis' value would increase for just a few weeks, although Bony will be transferring to Manchester City after the Cup of Nations, leaving Gomis as the leading striker for Swansea moving forward.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gomis took three shots against Liverpool on Monday, although none of his attempts were on goal.

Gomis has been used off the bench in limited fashion this season and that will likely continue as the season moves onward. He'll be looking for his second goal of the season against QPR on New Years Day.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gomis was an unused substitute against Aston Villa on Boxing Day.

Gomis was in the starting IX against Hull City this past Saturday, although with the compressed schedule it's likely that manager Garry Monk is alternating Gomis and Wilfried Bony as the premiere strikers to keep them fresh. Putting that into consideration, it wouldn't be surprising if Gomis saw significant time on the pitch against Liverpool on Monday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gomis was placed in the starting XI against Hull City on Saturday and he managed to take two shots before getting subbed off the pitch in the 76th minute.

Gomis won't likely garner the start over Wilfried Bony in many instances moving forward, but the compressed schedule over the next two weeks will likely open up some extra opportunities for Gomis.
