Podolski will return to training with Arsenal on August 11, which means he could be held out of the Premier League opener against Crystal Palace on August 16, the Daily Mail reports.

After being with the Germany squad that won the World Cup, Podolski, along with teammates Mesut Ozil and Per Mertesacker, will get a deserved break until the beginning of the Premier League season. There is no injury to report, so Podolski should be available by Gameweek 2.
