RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Shea (groin) is not in the 18-man squad to face New England on Saturday.

There was some hope that Shea would be able to return from his long-term injury Saturday, but he failed to even travel for the match. His next opportunity to play will come Sept. 13 against Sporting KC.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Shea (hernia) has resumed light training and hopes to return sometime in the next couple of weeks, Lucas Casas of reports.

Shea underwent a procedure to correct a sports hernia back in mid-July and was originally given a 6-8 week timetable for a return. His impending comeback will ultimately lead to a spot in the starting XI, but the season is winding down and he'll have just a limited time to make an impact on a squad that's struggling to compete in their inaugural MLS season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Shea could be sidelined for an additional eight weeks after undergoing sports hernia surgery, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Shea, who hasn't played since June 24 against Colorado, was expected to return sometime around the end of July, but he is now facing an absence that could reach into September.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Shea could miss up to four weeks because of a groin injury, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

Shea was left off the U.S. Gold Cup roster, so he may be able to return some time in July, though he isn't likely to be rushed back until he is fully fit.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Shea (international duty) will return to the starting XI for Sunday's game against D.C. United.

Shea had been competing in Europe with the US Men's National Team but he's since rejoined his club squad and should be available moving forward for Orlando.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Shea will not play Saturday against Chicago, as he will be away on international duty.

Shea missed last week's 2-2 draw with the Crew because of a one-match red-card suspension, and now he'll miss another match before returning June 14 against D.C. United.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Shea has served his one-match red-card ban and will be eligible to face the Fire on Saturday.

Shea has moved up to a midfield role, which gives him a little more upside in leagues where he's still classified as a defender, though he still isn't producing nearly enough to be a regular fantasy starter.
