Gomes had to be stretchered off from Saturday's match against Aston Villa after taking a blow to the head.

Gomes was on the ground for a considerable amount of time getting treatment, and he was eventually taken off while wearing an oxygen mask. 10 minutes of time was added at the end of the match due to the injury. Giedrius Arlauskis replaced Gomes on Saturday and could start next weekend if Gomes has to miss additional time.

After shipping two goals to West Brom last weekend, Arsenal's Petr Cech bounced back with a midweek Champions League clean sheet against Dinamo Zagreb and now faces a toothless Norwich City attack.

Gomes made five saves and conceded twice in Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Manchester United.

Gomes conceded early to Memphis, but was excellent for the following 75 minutes until Troy Deeney redirected Bastian Schweinsteiger's kick into the back of the Watford net to drop the point. In 13 matches this season, Gomes has conceded 14 goals and has five clean sheets. He'll look to get back on track next weekend against Aston Villa.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gomes made four saves and three claims but conceded twice and received yellow card in 2-1 loss versus Leicester on Saturday.

The Brazilian had a horrific game. He made a terrible mistake for the first goal and then caused the penalty, for the second, by making an unnecessary contact with the breaking away - Jamie Vardy. The dark clouds will continue hovering above his head even after the international break with the Hornets hosting the Red Devils.

Gomes tallied three saves and two claims en route to a clean sheet and defensive win in the home victory versus West Ham United on Saturday.

The Brazilian picked up his second consecutive (fifth for the season) clean sheet. Watford boasts one of the better defenses in the league and Gomes is very reliable but be cautious with the Hornets facing Jamie Vardy and the feisty Foxes away from home Saturday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gomes had to make just one save en route to a clean sheet in a 2-0 win over Stoke City on Saturday.

This was a very strange game, as Stoke dominated possession and corners taken, but got only one shot on goal. This was the case of Watford grabbing a two-goal lead and parking the bus for the final 20 minutes or so. Gomes has had a nice year for Watford, as he has four clean sheets and 28 saves in 10 matches played. Gomes and Watford take on West Ham next Saturday in their next fixture.

Gomes produced three saves but allowed three goals as Watford fell to Arsenal on Saturday.

Gomes faced regular pressure from the Arsenal attack, particularly in the second half, when the Gunners found the back of the net three times. That marked the most goals Gomes has allowed in a game this season. The Brazilian and Watford's defense will aim for an improved performance next weekend at Stoke City.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores praised the weekend performance from Gomes that earned the side a draw with comparisons to David de Gea and Santiago Canizares, reports the Daily Mail.

Gomes made vital saves, including a penalty shot, that enabled the side to earn a point against Bournemouth. Flores claimed Gomes has his confidence back and is one of the top goalkeepers he has worked with.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Gomes made five saves, including a penalty save in a 1-1 draw to Bournemouth on Saturday.

Gomes made a crucial penalty save that ended up saving a point for Watford. The Brazilian has allowed just three goals in his last six matches and it appears he is recapturing that form he once had at Tottenham years ago. With his ability to make saves and record clean sheets, Gomes is a nice cheap fantasy option going forward. His next match will be a tough one though, when Watford host Arsenal on the 17th after an international break.
