Kightly was subbed on in the 32nd minute for an injured Dean Marney and recorded an assist off a cross to Danny Ings in the 3-3 draw to Newcastle Thursday.

Kightly was one of Burnley's biggest signings, but has been a bit of a disappointment grabbing only a single goal and two assists on the season. He'll likely be back in the starting XI come next Saturday when Burnley host Queens Park Rangers.

Kightly played 38 games last season for Burnley while on loan and was a key cog in the midfield. With Premier League experience, Kightly will have to guide these inexperienced players through a treacherous Premier League schedule in a season that will be all about surviving the drop.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Kightly netted his second goal of the season but it wasn't enough as Stoke fell 4-2 away against Manchester United on Saturday.

Kightly showed the ability to score with pace and touch in transition but it wasn't meant to be as Manchester United's offense proved to be too much to overcome on this afternoon.
