Gerrard put in four crosses and scored a goal on four shot attempts during Saturday's 5-2 win over Salt Lake.

Gerrard controlled the game from the middle of the field, and he was rewarded in the 91st minute when he buried a goal to cap the game off. Gerrard has a goal and an assist in two matches since returning from a month-long layoff and will look to keep it up next week versus Sporting KC.

Gerrard (calf) earned an assist, in his first game back, in Friday’s 4-1 win over Houston.

Gerrard made his return to the starting lineup Friday, after missing two games with a calf injury. He earned his second assist of the season, but if he will need to continue garnering assists to keep up his fantasy value, since he does not score many goals.

Gerrard (calf) is expected to start Friday against the Dynamo, the Los Angeles Times reports.

With Nigel de Jong suspended for three games, the Galaxy will need Gerrard to step right back into the starting lineup Friday against a Houston side capable of scoring plenty of goals.

Gerrard (calf) returned to first-team training Tuesday, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Gerrard could be forced back into action if Nigel de Jong is suspended for his dangerous tackle on Darlington Nagbe during last Sunday's match. That being said, the Galaxy are getting back a number of players soon, including Jeff Larentowicz, who could share the midfield duties with Gerrard if neither are able to play 90 minutes right away.

Gerrard (calf) was a full participant in practice Tuesday, Kevin Baxter of the L.A. Times reports.

Gerrard missed his second straight game Sunday, but with his participation in practice he could be back for Friday's game against Houston. If Gerrard plays he could fit right back into the starting nine, pushing Baggio Husidic back to the bench.

Gerrard (calf) will particpate in training on Friday, Kevin Baxter of the L.A. Times reports.

This is the first practice Gerrard has participated in since injuring his calf on Mar. 19, but it is still doubtful that he will play Sunday. Baggio Husidic will likely remain the starter in place of Gerrard against Portland.

Gerrard will miss Saturday's matchup against the Vancouver Whitecaps due to a calf injury suffered in the L.A. Galaxy's Mar. 19's victory over the San Jose Earthquakes, MLSSoccer.com reports.

The 35-year old Gerrard, who exited Mar. 19's California Clasico just minutes after kickoff due to the injured calf, will sit the sidelines this Saturday after chipping in one assist in three league starts this season. Fantasy owners should expect to see Baggio Husidic (two shots in 108 minutes playing time this year) stepping in at midfielder in place of Gerrard in this weekend's clash with Vancouver as a result.
