The Chilean striker who spent last season with Queen's Park Rangers has moved to German club Hoffenheim from Italian side Napoli, Football Italia reports.

Vargas did not fit in Napoli's plans so a move makes sense.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Vargas has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a knee injury during Saturday's win at West Brom, the BBC reports.

Vargas reportedly suffered a Grade 2 MCL sprain, which will require 10-to-12 weeks of recovery. Vargas had been a decent contributor for the Rs and his absence surely won't help in the relegation battle.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Vargas is starting out wide in Saturday's match against QPR.

Vargas has been getting starts up front with Charlie Austin of late, but he'll move to the wing, with Niko Kranjcar lining up next to Austin.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Vargas scored both of QPR's goals in a 3-2 loss to Liverpool on Sunday.

Vargas came on in place of Bobby Zamora in the 79th minute and made quite an impact. It was the Chilean striker's first goals of his Premier League career. We'll have to see if his performance will translate into a spot in the starting XI for QPR's next match, scheduled for next Monday at home to Aston Villa.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Vargas picked up an assist in QPR's loss to Southampton on Saturday.

Vargas, who's made three appearances for QPR this term, should continue to start consistently while on loan from Napoli. That being said, Harry Redknapp's team has been a mess in the early stages of the campaign, so you may better be off looking elsewhere for attacking options.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Vargas has obtained a work permit and is therefore now eligible to play for QPR.

Vargas joined up with QPR on a season-long loan from Napoli. His first taste of Premier League action could very well come in the team's trip to Old Trafford on Sept. 14. Loic Remy's departure has opened an opportunity for the likes of Vargas and Charlie Austin to earn a larger role for the club.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Vargas has signed a season-long loan deal with QPR.

Vargas, whose parent club is Napoli, is a Chilean attacking player who has scored six goals in 19 Serie A appearances since 2012. The 24-year-old has been a standout for the national team, scoring 15 goals in 32 caps thus far, and he figures to get plenty of playing time under Harry Redknapp at Loftus Road.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Vargas assisted on Alexis Sanchez's opening goal during Chile's 3-1 win over Australia in their World Cup opener on Friday.

Vargas starts up front with Sanchez, which means he could be in a consistent position to score. Nevertheless, Sanchez remains the upside play in the Chile attack.
