Stockdale allowed two late second half goals to cost fantasy owners his clean sheet points and Fulham two crucial points in their relegation battle. Stockdale's final two matches come against Stoke City and Crystal Palace as both will be critical in Fulham's attempt to avoid relegation.

Unfortunately for Stockdale owners, a 70th minute goal prevented the clean sheet, but the five saves salvaged some value from what was a great performance. After starting the last four matches for the Cottagers, it appears Stockdale will be the choice in goal for the foreseeable future.

Stockdale was named Fulham's starter for Saturday's match with Newcastle United and responded by making three saves and keeping a clean sheet for a 1-0 victory.

Stockdale has seen time this season when Maarten Stekelenburg was out with injury. This is the first instance Stockdale has received a start in place of a fit Stekelenburg. Fulham's goalkeeper situation going forward is still not certain, but this is a good start for Stockdale.
