Keane took two shots and ultimately scored a goal during Saturday's 3-1 win over the Rapids.

Keane scored on a sloppy breakaway which was assisted by Steven Gerrard during added time once the game was already in hand. The Irishman now has 10 goals on the season and most importantly shook off his recent shoulder injury that kept him out of the All-Star Game.

Keane (shoulder) will start in Saturday's game against the Rapids.

A minor shoulder issue kept Keane out of Wednesday's All-Star Game but apparently it's not severe enough to keep him off the field for the Galaxy moving forward.

Keane will not play in the All-Star Game on Wednesday because of a shoulder injury, but he could return Saturday to face the Rapids, manager Bruce Arena said Wednesday.

Keane has pulled out of the All-Star Game three years in a row, so it wasn't overly surprising to see him pop up with an injury just days before the exhibition against Tottenham. With the injury not considered serious, Keane is likely to start Saturday and remains an elite fantasy option.

Keane will not play in the All-Star Game on Wednesday because of an undisclosed injury.

Keane has pulled out of the midseason even three consecutive years, and it seems more likely that he is not dealing with a serious injury and will be able to play Saturday against Colorado.

Keane scored a hat trick, including two penalties, during the Galaxy's 5-2 win over the Earthquakes on Saturday.

Keane's performance was his second consecutive hat trick, and he now sits on nine goals for the season in 12 appearances (10 starts). He linked up very well with new addition Steven Gerrard on Saturday, as Gerrard assisted on Keane's open play goal, and the fireworks could certainly continue next weekend at Houston.

Keane dominated Saturday's 4-0 win over Toronto with three goals on just four shot attempts.

Keane continues to impress as he now has taken a total of 20 shots in his last four games. He's currently the number one option for the Galaxy but that could change with the impending addition of Steven Gerrard come July 17 when the squad picks up MLS competition against San Jose, although Keane will likely still provide elite production regardless.

Keane took a team-high seven shots during the 5-1 rout of Philadelphia on Saturday but only two were on goal and he failed to convert on both. However, he recorded his second assist of the season during the 90-minute outing.

Keane has now taken 19 shots, seven on goal, during eight MLS appearances this season. With Gyasi Zardes likely leaving the squad for the Gold Cup in July, Keane may see even more touches in front of the net in due time.

Keane (international duty) rejoined the Galaxy for Wednesday's U.S. Open Cup game against amateur club PSA Elite and was able to score three goals in 70 minutes during the 6-1 rout.

Keane's performance was expected against an amateur team, but more importantly he's available for MLS competition after an international stint with Ireland. Next up for the potent striker is a game against the struggling Union on Saturday.
