Ramsey scored the winning goal during extra time of Arsenal's 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace to begin the season Saturday.

Ramsey, who led Arsenal with four shot attempts (two on target), pounced on a rebounded strike to tap in Saturday's match-winning goal with little time to spare. The Welshman also scored a quality goal in the Gunners' Community Shield triumph last weekend. Following a strong start to the 2013-14 campaign, early returns indicate Ramsey is in similarly impressive form this time around. An away match versus Everton looms for Ramsey next weekend.

Ramsey found the back of the net in Arsenal's 3-0 win over Manchester City in the Community Shield.

Ramsey emerged as the Gunners' best all-around player in the 2013-14 campaign and appears ready to have another standout season in 2014-15. If he stays healthy, Ramsey should be a terrific fantasy play week in and week out.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Ramsey was brilliant when healthy this season, as he registered 10 goals and eight assists in only 23 Premiership appearances.

Ramsey joined Arsenal in 2009, but prior to this season had just seven goals in his Premier League career. While an ugly broken leg incident unfortunately stunted his early development, Ramsey blossomed into a potential star-caliber player this season. To that point, the 23-year-old boasted an early-season tally of eight goals and six assists before a thigh injury suffered on Boxing Day halted his momentum and sidelined him for the next four months. Once eventually fit again, Ramsey returned to score in three of his last four games across all competitions, most notably an extra-time winner in the FA Cup final. Since Ramsey's native country of Wales did not qualify for this summer's World Cup, the midfielder should be in top condition ahead of next season's Premiership campaign, placing him among fantasy's top attacking options.

Ramsey's score in extra time provided the winning margin in Saturday's FA Cup Final against Hull City.

Ramsey still hasn't recaptured his pre-injury form (he looked like a dominant player before the turn of the year), but he's been more engaged of late. We're curious of the upside possible here next BPL season, given a full campaign of health.

Ramsey was held out of Arsenal's match against West Brom on Sunday due to a minor thigh injury, the club's official web site reports.

It's unclear how severe the Ramsey's injury is, other than the fact that the team has deemed it "minor." It's been an injury-riddled season yet again for Ramsey, who will hope to return to fitness for next weekend's season finale against Norwich City at Carrow Road.

Ramsey contributed both a goal and an assist in Arsenal's 3-0 win over Hull City on Sunday.

Ramsey just recently returned from a thigh injury that cost him several months and Sunday marked the first time he was named to Arsenal's starting squad in a Premiership game since late December. A candidate for Player of the Year before the setback, Ramsey transitioned seamlessly back into the Gunners' attack. While he opened the scoring with a 31st minute goal and added an assist just ahead of halftime, Ramsey also led Arsenal with four shot attempts (three on goal). With a favorable schedule in his three remaining games, Ramsey could be a useful late season addition to fantasy teams.
