Dann hit the bar with a header in the first half and had goalkeeper Julian Speroni to thank for the clean sheet after he saved a penalty kick.

Dann returned to the starting line-up with an assist during Saturday's 3-3 draw with Newcastle.

Dann replaced Brede Hangeland in manager Neil Warnock's first starting line up as Crystal Palace boss. Dann headed the ball down for Wilfried Zaha's late equaliser in the club's draw at Newcastle on Saturday. Palace have now conceded eight goals in three Premier League games and fantasy owners should be wary when selecting him for clean sheet bonuses.

Dann (knock) is “back in contention” ahead of Saturday’s game at Newcastle United, reports the club website.

Dann left the first game of the season at Arsenal with an injury that meant he was missing for last weekend’s defeat against West Ham United and was replaced by Damien Delaney. Dann is first choice at centre back and once he strikes up a partnership with Brede Hangeland there is definite fantasy potential for at least seven clean sheets as well as the odd goal.

Dann (quad) failed to shake off an injury in time to take his place in Saturday’s game against West Ham United.

Dann was replaced in the starting line-up by Damien Delaney in what was a 3-1 defeat for Crystal Palace. Once the central defender is fit he will slot back into the team and remains a good bet for clean sheets in a resolute defence.

Dann (quad) has an “outside chance” of being fit for Saturday’s game against West Ham, caretaker manager Keith Millen told the Croydon Advertiser.

Dann limped out of the opening day defeat at Arsenal last Saturday and will be replaced by Damien Delaney at the centre of Palace’s defence if unfit. Fantasy owners should hold on to Dann thanks to Palace’s excellent clean sheet record last season though he offers very little going forward.

Dann’s quad injury isn’t as bad as first feared and there’s a chance he will start the weekend’s clash against West Ham. “It’s quite good news - Scott Dann has got a slight strain but the muscle, it’s an unusual strain, it’s on the outside of his quadriceps. We thought it might have been a dead leg at one stage but there is a strain, one that maybe he can continue with. We will monitor that one come Thursday,” caretaker manager Keith Millen told the Croydon Advertiser.

Dann couldn’t finish last weekend’s loss at Arsenal due to the injury and was replaced by Damien Delaney in the centre of Palace’s defense. The latter will continue in the starting XI against West Ham this weekend should Dann’s injury take a turn for the worse.

Dann picked up a knock and had to be replaced in the 74th minute of Crystal Palace's 2-1 loss to Arsenal on Saturday.

Dann limped off the field, but the club has not announced a specific injury as of yet. Damien Delaney replaced him in the match and he could do so in the starting XI next weekend against West Ham.

Dann headed in a corner at the beginning of the second half for Crystal Palace's second goal of the match Wednesday, and the Eagles went on to defeat Everton 3-2.

Wednesday was Dann's 10th consecutive start for Crystal Palace since signing with Crystal Palace at the end of January. He has helped the Eagles keep four clean sheets and now has a goal to add to his fantasy value. Dann is not much of a threat offensively as the goal was just his second shot attempt as a member of Crystal Palace. His fantasy value comes mainly from his ability to help Crystal Palace keep clean sheets.
