Dann (hamstring) will not be fit enough to play in Saturday's match with Sunderland.

Dann injured his hamstring during Wednesday's EFL Cup defeat to Southampton. The injury will rule him out of this weekend's match and potentially the Everton match. In his absence, James Tomkins is the most likely candidate to replace him Saturday.

A number of Liverpool players have found the back of the net early this season, but RotoWire's Alex Spalding is focused on Roberto Firmino against Hull City on Saturday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Dann suffered a hamstring injury early in the first half of Wednesday's EFL Cup match against Southampton, the London Evening Standard reports.

A potential absence of Dann would be another big hit to the Palace back line, as they are already with Pape Souare (leg), while James Tomkins left last weekend's match with a knee injury. With Damien Delaney expected to start for Tomkins, manager Alan Pardew may have to dip into the youth ranks this weekend for more cover.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Dann scored a goal on three shots (two on net) and had six clearances in Sunday's 4-1 win over Stoke.

Dann just continues to be one of the best defenders in fantasy when it comes to scoring goals. It's already his second goal of the campaign. In any format, he's clearly the best defender on Palace. Dann gets a nice matchup next week against Sunderland.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Dann scored the equalizer as Crystal Palace came from behind to draw with Bournemouth at Selhurst Park on Saturday.

It's been a tough start to the season for Palace but they got finally got off the mark thanks to Dann on Saturday. He was a solid option in fantasy formats that award points for deeper defensive stats, and with Steve Mandanda now in goal, he could increase his clean sheets.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Dann (foot) has been ruled out for Wednesday's match against Manchester United, though he should be fit for Sunday's FA Cup match against Watford.

Dann has been a rock in central defense for Palace this season, and his absence could open up playing time for Adrian Mariappa alongside Damien Delaney.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Dann picked up a clean sheet in addition to one shot on target and two tackles in Saturday's 1-0 win over Norwich.

A masterpiece performance from the center-half pair of the Eagles. Both Dann and Damien Delaney were very solid in defense and were always an aerial threat in offense at set pieces keeping the Canaries' defense in check. Dann, however, is one of the best fantasy defenders with five goals, one assist, seven clean sheets on the season and almost one shot average per game. He is a constant aerial threat at set pieces and is extremely reliable having started in 31 of the Eagles' 32 Premier League games, thus far, this season. He's facing a couple of rough defensive fixtures against Everton and Arsenal in the upcoming week.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Dann had one assist on two shots in Tuesday's 2-2 draw versus Sunderland.

Dann continues to be a top option if you're looking for attacking points from a defender. Already leading all Premier League defenders with five goals, Dann added his second assist on Tuesday when he made a headed flick on a corner over to the in-form Connor Wickham to set up the goal.

February 2, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Dann scored on his only shot in Tuesday's loss to Bournemouth.

It was the 28-year-old's first goal in nearly two months, but he still leads all Premier League defenders with an impressive haul of four on the season. Dann's eye for goal and Palace's strong defensive record make him an intriguing matchup play in fantasy, and he could be a useful low-cost option this weekend versus Swansea.
