Crouch tallied one assist and one shot on goal in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Sunderland.

In a rare start this season, Crouch was surprisingly a factor against the Black Cats. He set up the team's only goal with a nice piece of hold up play, as he chested it down and slid the ball over to an open Arnautovic. At 35, Crouch's days in the Premier League are winding down. With just 10 appearances all season, his fantasy value is next to nothing.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Crouch (hamstring) is on the bench Saturday against West Brom.

Crouch has been out for nearly a month, and while his return to fitness is certainly a plus for Stoke's depth, he was unlikely to get a start given how well the attacking group of Bojan, Xherdan Shaqiri, Ibrahim Affelay and Marko Arnautovic are playing.

Crouch has returned to training after recovering from a hamstring injury, but he is unlikely to play until after the end of the calendar year.

The lanky striker will need at least a full week of training before manager Mark Hughes will consider including him in a match day squad, all but ruling him out for the upcoming matches versus Manchester United and Everton. Crouch has not started in Premier League play this season, so he will likely only feature off the bench even after he is fully fit.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Crouch (hamstring) has been ruled out for Saturday's match against Crystal Palace, though manager Mark Hughes said Friday that the striker could return to training Monday.

Crouch wasn't getting regular starts even when he was fit, but he's a huge presence in the box who can always make an impact late in games. That being said, his fantasy value is very limited as a reserve.

Crouch will miss Saturday's match versus West Ham because of a hamstring injury, the Stoke Sentinel reports.

The beanpole striker sustained the injury in last week's Capital One Cup match, and he is expected to remain sidelined until the end of the month. Crouch has only made a handful of starts this season, but Stoke will likely be without his aerial presence off the bench for at least the next three weeks.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Crouch (hamstring) picked up a hamstring injury in Stoke's Capital One Cup clash with Sheffield Wednesday. "It's likely that he will miss the next three or four weeks, which is a huge disappointment to him, just as it is to us," manager Mark Hughes said.

Crouch has only made three starts this season, but his strength and size make him a valuable asset for the end of matches. With him on the sidelines for nearly a month, Mame Diouf should get the start in his place.

Crouch underwent groin surgery Wednesday, the Stoke Sentinel reports.

Manager Mark Hughes admitted that Crouch was unable to start down the stretch of the season due to the ailment, but the tall striker is expected to be fit well before the start of next season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Crouch was introduced late in Sunday's win over Liverpool, but still managed to score an 86th minute goal to punctuate Stoke's 6-1 victory.

Crouch unsurprisingly scored Stoke's final goal with a header in the penalty box, which brought his season tally to eight league goals this term. While that exceeded the seven goals he supplied in both of the previous two seasons, Crouch made just 17 starts this season, representing a sizable drop-off from his usual involvement. At 34 years old, the lanky forward is still able to put his stamp on certain matches, but Crouch cannot be relied upon to start on a weekly basis anymore.
