Celestino was traded to the Twins from the Astros along with Jorge Alcala in exchange for Ryan Pressly on Friday, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
Celestino has yet to surpass the Double-A level, as he'd spent just three games at Corpus Christi prior to the trade. He put together a .317/.383/.476 slash line with four homers and 21 RBI through 33 games at short season Tri-City, so he certainly holds some potential for the future. The 19-year-old outfielder possesses a strong throwing arm and a decent bat, though he lacks power at the dish.

2017 Fantasy Outlook
The Astros signed Celestino from the 2015 international class, with the 17-year-old being described as one of the most polished players in his class at the time. The outfielder hasn't seen many opportunities in the states thus far, appearing in just 18 games in the Gulf Coast league in 2016, slashing just .200/.308/.291 in 65 plate appearances over that time. A left-handed thrower who bats from the right side, he is mostly touted for his ability in center field, widely described as a quality defender with impressive instincts. Scouts are less certain about his bat, although the Astros are hopeful that the outfielder will hit for contact consistently, with the possibility of developing average power as he matures physically. At this point, only more at-bats will help determine his potential at the plate, but he is worth monitoring in deeper dynasty leagues.
