2024 Fantasy Outlook
Veneziano made his major league debut in 2023 throwing just 2.1 innings in two appearances in late September. The 26-year-old was decent across 89.2 innings in Triple-A in 2023, compiling a 4.22 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and a 7.97 K/9. A left-hander, Veneziano is currently one of two healthy southpaws in Kansas City's bullpen, the other being Will Smith who will likely work in high leverage situations. Unlikely to hold much fantasy appeal in the new season, Veneziano could serve as a left-handed specialist for the Royals in 2024.
