2019
Bogdanovic played in 61 of Sacramento's 72 games during the shortened 2019-20 season, making 28 starts. The third-year man scored a career-best 15.1 points per game, taking advantage of a career-high 29.0 minutes per contest. His 2.7 three-pointers per game were also a personal best. On Nov. 12, the versatile wing posted 25 points, a season-high 10 assists, four steals and three treys in a home win over the Trail Blazers. A week later, he scored a then-career-high 31 points along with seven assists, four rebounds and three steals, in a home win over the Suns. In that game, he drained a career-best seven three-pointers on nine attempts. The talented Serbian had three games with four steals and a dozen contests with at least two steals. During a Mar. 7 win at Portland, Bogdanovic tallied 27 points, eight assists, five rebounds, seven three-pointers, one steal and one block. In the Orlando bubble, the athletic wing displaced his career high from earlier in the season with a 35-point effort during an Aug. 6 win over the Pelicans.
2018
Bogdan Bogdanovic's sophomore season in the Association showed nice improvement over his rookie season of 2017-18. In 2018-19, the 6-foot-6 wing improved his per game averages for points (14.1), rebounds (3.5), assists (3.8), steals (1.0) and made threes (1.9). Bogdanovic was clearly comfortable in his sixth-man role for Sacramento, though he did start 17 of the 70 games in which he played. He led the Kings in scoring seven times and assists 13 times. The season started poorly, as a knee issue forced Bogdanovic to miss 11 of Sacramento's first dozen games. But he quickly healed, scoring 22 points in his third game back to help beat the Spurs on Nov. 12. On Jan. 21 versus the Nets, the rugged Serbian posted 22 points and a career-best 11 assists for his first career double-double. On Feb. 27, the shooting guard scored a career-high 28 points, to go with eight rebounds and eight assists, in a loss to the Bucks. On Mar. 30, Bogdanovic gathered a career-high nine rebounds, plus 24 points, in a loss at Houston.
2017
A former first round NBA Draft selection in 2014 (27th overall), Bogdanovic arrived stateside in 2017 for his first NBA season. He made an immediate impact for the Sacramento Kings. The 24-year-old played in all but four of Sacramento's contests, garnering 53 starts. Bogdanovic averaged 11.8 points, 3.3 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.7 three-pointers over 27.9 minutes per night. The Serbian posted double figures in scoring on 51 separate occasions, including eight games with 20 or more points. Bogdanovic made his NBA debut on Oct. 23 and posted 12 points, three boards, two assists and two steals during a loss at Phoenix. On Jan. 17, Bogdanovic drained all six of his threes while posting a season-high 25 points in a loss to Utah. Bogdanovic's biggest strength was his ability to score, but he displayed numerous other skills throughout his rookie season. An excellent sharer of the ball, Bogdanovic posted at least 18 games with five or more assists. He racked up a season-high 10 assists in a win over Orlando on Mar. 9. Toss in the fact Bogdanovic added nearly one steal (0.9) per game while drilling 84.0 percent of his free throws and it's easy to see why the young Serbian was named to the 2017-18 All-Rookie Second Team.
