Noren fired a six-under 66 in the final round to surge into a share of 12th place at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
ANALYSIS
Noren started this event very slow with a pair of 71's at Carnoustie and Kingsbarns, but once he got to The Old Course at St Andrews, Noren woke up. The Swede posted a bogey-free eight-under 64 in round three before making birdies on seven of the first 10 holes on Sunday. Unfortunately he would add two bogeys and only one more birdie coming in, but still the 66 moved him up 28 places on the leaderboard from where he started the round. This is Noren's second start on the DP World Tour since the FedExCup season ended. He is likely to play at least a couple more times before the end of the year.
