The eight-time DP World Tour winner was making a hard charge on Sunday with four birdies on the back-nine, but fell two shots shy of a potential playoff with Laurie Canter. Wiesberger was a LIV Golf player last year but was dropped going into 2024. Wiesberger had been playing some very nice golf on the DP World Tour this year with six top-25 finishes coming into the week. This T2 will push him all the way up to 33rd in the Race to Dubai standings. He will not be in the field for the Scandinavian Mixed .
