His Rippers won the team event by three strokes over Torque GC, in large part due to newcomer Elvis Smylie, who won the individual event by two strokes over Jon Rahm. Smith and his All-Australian teammates will have the home crowd behind them next week at LIV Golf Adelaide, where he finished 30th in 2025.
