Berger fired a bogey-free, six-under 65 in the final round of the WM Phoenix Open to finish tied with Jordan Smith for 16th.

Berger saved his best round for last in Phoenix, as his final round efforts led to him jumping 21 spots on the leaderboard to crack into the top-20. He led the field in SG: Approach to Green, ranked T6 in GIR and in the top-20 in scrambling, driving accuracy and driving distance, though he finished near the bottom in SG: Around the Green. Berger is in the field for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am next week, a tournament he's had plenty of success at; he won the event in 2021 and finished T5 and T10 in 2020 and 2015, respectively.
