Germishuys surged into a share of third place after shooting a three-under 69 in the final round of the KLM Open.

Germishuys reeled off four birdies in a five hole stretch on the front-nine in the final round and it looked like he might challenge for his first DP World Tour victory. Unfortunately the putter went cold on the back-nine and he would close with 11 straight pars. It is still a great showing for the young South African who moves up to a career-high 221st in the OWGR after T15 and T3 finishes in his last two events. Germishuys will tee it up at the Porsche European Open.
