Sweden's Andersson Hed (16-under), after 14 trips to Qualifying School, finally got his first win at the European Tour's Italian Open edging David Horsey (England) by two strokes.
ANALYSIS
Persistence rules! Hed had a 6-stroke advantage late after he third round and his closing round of one-over 73 obviously wasn't a run-away win. British Amateur champion Mateo Manassero's first professional event went very well, 70-70-72-71, five-under, tieing for 29th.
