Tanihara fired a three-under 69 in the final round of the HSBC Champions to move into a tie for 20th place.
ANALYSIS
Tanihara jumped up 21 positions alone on Sunday, in what proved to be difficult scoring conditions. He didn't have his best ball striking week, hitting only 55 percent of the greens in regulation. Tanihara was, however, T15 in driving accuracy and T23 in putts per GIR. His last four finishes worldwide are now T20-MC-T5-T9. Tanihara likely won't play on the PGA Tour again until the next WGC event.
