Long carded an even-par 72 in the final round to finish in solo second at the Horizon Irish Open.
ANALYSIS
Long came into the final round as the 54-hole leader seeking his first career DP World Tour victory. Unfortunately, the final round was just a bit messy and included four bogeys, the same number he had made in the previous three rounds combined. That being said, Long still was only beaten by one man with Vincent Norrman shooting up the board with a 65 to take the one shot victory. Long moves from 150th to 37th in the Race to Dubai standings and will look for another good showing at the BMW PGA Championship.
