Taylor finished tied for 13th at the Sony Open in Hawaii after carding an even 70 during the final round.
ANALYSIS
The 37-year-old Canadian looked to be on his way to a sixth PGA Tour victory after opening the tournament with an eight-under 62. However, he gained just one stroke over the final three days of the event to settle for a top-15 finish and ranked T2 in the field in GIR and 10th in SG: Approach to Green. It was Taylor's first top-15 finish in a Tour event since the RBC Canadian Open in June (T13), and his efforts in Hawaii rose him up to 51st in the OWGR. Taylor is in the field for The American Express next week.
