Fishburn carded a one-under 69 on Sunday at the Sony Open in Hawaii to finish in a share of sixth place.
ANALYSIS
Fishburn's tournament got off to a hot start as he put up back-to-back rounds of 65 to share the lead after 36 holes, but he made too many mistakes thereafter with seven bogeys on the weekend to ultimately finish three back. He was carried by his short game, where he gained 9.6 strokes around the green and putting combined for the tournament. It's Fishburn's second straight top-10 finish.
