Coody posted a five-over 75 in the second round of the PGA Championship to miss the cut by two strokes.
ANALYSIS
Coody opened the tournament with a one-over 71 score in the first round, and he was on track to make the four-over cut line after going even on the front nine of the second round. However, he fell apart completely on the back nine, posting four bogeys, a double bogey and a birdie. His struggles Friday were due to his performance around and on the green, losing 1.24 strokes and 1.19 strokes around the green and with the putter, respectively. It was Coody's fourth missed cut of the season (across 14 tournaments), and he'll look to bounce back next week at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson, where he finished T25 in 2025 after missing the cut in each of his three prior outings at the tournament.
