Bairstow finished in a four-way share of second place at the FedEx Open de France following a three-under 68 in the final round.
ANALYSISBairstow overcome a slow start on Thursday with an even-par 71 by following it up with rounds of 65-65-68. Unfortunately that would come up just one shot shy of forcing a playoff with
Dan Bradbury. Bairstow will have to wait for his first DP World Tour victory, but this finish does move him up to 32nd and should secure him of a spot to close the season in Dubai. Bairstow will compete at the Andalucia Masters next week.
