Week 1 Live Blog

Welcome to Week 1's Sunday Live Blog. All are welcome to chime in here - I'm basically going to comment on developments as I see them.

I'll start off with a general annoyance - Fox's pregame show starts off with Michael Strahan's sit-com hype, which at least is tangentially related to the show; then they follow that with a bald-faced promo for the DVD release of "Wolverine." All of the networks are guilty of this, and I understand that the shows are truly there to pay the bills. But do they have to start the show off with that?

Sigh ... by definition I'm getting older every day, but some days I feel it more than others.
