Betting - The King has Arrived!

Record 6-6

Bank Account: -75

Mets at Marlins - Johan Santana owns the Marlins as he is 6-1 with a 1.46 ERA. True that is mostly reflected in years past, but Stanton and Hanley are included in those numbers at least. Buerhle is tough no doubt about it as like Santana has an ERA under 3.00 this year. I feel real comfortable with the Mets hitting right now and the fact the Mets are the dogs. The opening line has moved towards the Mets.

TV's Take: Mets +115/ Bet $100 to win $115

Rockies at Dodgers - I smell blood......Jamie Moyer and his 4.01 ERA visit the Dodgers and Chris Capuano who sports a 2.21 ERA. Caps owns the Rockies who are batting a mere .235 vs him. Caps is also 5-1 lifetime at Dodgers Stadium. The only way you ever take Moyer is if he is facing a bad pitcher or the Rockies own the pitcher. This one looks real good and Vegas knows it.

TV's Take: Dodgers -170/ Bet $255 to win $150

Seattle at Yankees: Oh, my goodness. I am going to take the Mariners over my Yankees. Here is why....Felix Hernandez is 3-0 with a 0.38 ERA at the new Yankees Stadium. That is all I need to be honest, but add in the fact Hiroki Kuroda has a 5.68 ERA vs the Mariners and it is time to wager big! Can you say Jesus Montero?

TV's Take: Mariners +126/ Bet $200 to win $252

I like the following games, but not enough to wager on them....Cle +110, Tor -135, and the Rangers U8.5.
