Yesterday I'm going draw up as a wash. The lineup I blogged about would have won all of my contests but by writing the blog I never switched it out to the lineup I put in initially which lost. I like tonight's lineup a lot and I'm going to pick on the Lakers.
PG - Kyle Lowry, $8100 - I debated between Lowry and DeMar Derozan who is the same price and scored at least 49 FPs in each is his last three games. I think the floor is higher with Lowry who can put up points in a variety of ways. Love the matchup against Isaiah Thomas too.
SG - Tyreke Evans, $7200 - His price has jumped a little and I hope that scares some people away from him. He seems to flirt every game with a triple-double every game lately, is playing huge minutes and has topped 40 FPs in each of his last three games.
SF - Lance Stephenson, $6600 - I like the matchup against the Rockets and he should be marked by James Harden, who has never been known for his defense. My concern here is that Harden drives on him and gets him in foul trouble. Still, for his price I'm expecting at least 30 FPs which is worth this price.
PF - Kenneth Faried, $6200 - I'm going to pick on the Lakers tonight and for good reason: they don't play defense. According to Vegas, Denver is expected to put up around 120 points tonight. I can see Faried putting up something like a 15-15 line, maybe even more.
C - Amar'e Stoudemire, $4300 - He's got back-to-back 20-point games and should continue to see 30-plus minutes per game. This appears to be a good home matchup for him and I expect he'll be heavily owned tonight.
F - Wilson Chandler, $5700 - His priced remains a little depressed since he was out with an injury for a few games. He's scored over 20 points in back-to-back games and is taking plenty of shots. I'm tempted to go with my gut and play Jared Sullinger ($5500) here but the floor is higher with Chandler.
G - Ty Lawson, $7300 - Rounding out the three Nuggets I'm using tonight is Lawson, who is primed to have a big game. My only risk here is if it turns out to be a blowout but I think the Lakers show a better effort tonight after last night's embarrassing loss.
Util - Kent Bazemore, $4600 - I've gone to the Bazemore well for the past week and he's yet to disappoint. He's yet to score under 20 FPs over his last eight games since joining the Lakers.
In tournament play I used Rudy Gay, Jared Sullinger and Wes Johnson. I'm down $348 with $198 in play for 50/50 games tonight.
