Who Are The Most Followed ACC MBB Players This Year?
Atop our most followed ACC men's basketball players list this season is the son of former NBA legend Carmelo Anthony, with 6'7 freshman guard Kiyan Anthony using his family's star influence to rank atop the conference's leaderboard, social media clout wise, with the Brooklyn native having a combined following of 1.72 million.
While only time will tell if the four-star recruit out of Long Island Luteran High School will live up to his father's billing on the court, we can say that Anthony's doing numbers online, with the true freshman ranking ahead of Duke Blue Devils sophomore sensation Isaiah Evans, who scored 6.8 points per game for the ACC stalwarts in 2024-25 after coming to Durham as a five-star recruit out of North Mecklenburg High School.
Overall, Evans' social media following (297.5K) ranks second among ACC men's basketball players, ahead of Boopie Miller of SMU (233.4K), Kowacie Reeves Jr. of Georgia Tech (226.2K) and Cameron Boozer of Duke (184.1K). Of the latter trio, Miller arrives in Dallas as a four-star transfer recruit after spending his first three NCAA seasons at Central Michigan (2021-23) and Wake Forest, where he scored 15.6 points per game in 35 games with the Demon Deacons, while Reeves enters his fifth college campaign (and third with GT) having averaged 8.1 points and 2.7 rebounds per game with the Florida Gators and Yellow Jackets and Boozer arrives at Duke looking to follow in the steps of his father, Carlos.
Like Anthony, Boozer's a top-notch prospect, with the 6'9 forward coming to Duke as the third-ranked prospect nationally (and top-ranked power forward) out of Columbus High School in Miami, looking to emulate the exploits of his father, Carlos, who was a first team All-ACC player at Duke in 2002, while winning it all with the Blue Devils in 2001.
Other Noteworthy ACC Players This Season
Outside of the quintet of social media heavyweights laid out above, the other ACC MBB players with the biggest following online include John Camden of California (118.3K followers), Duke's Cayden Boozer (117.4K followers), Seth Trimble of UNC (83.8K followers), Caleb Foster of Duke (81.9K followers) and Cal's Justin Pippen (78.5K followers).
Of that latter quintet, Camden's path to social media stardom is the most obscure, with the fifth year forward making his fourth NCAA stop to date, having played one year at Memphis in 2021-22 and Delaware a year ago, to go with a two-year sojourn in Blacksburg with the Virginia Tech Hokies.
While his first three NCAA seasons were largely forgettable, Camden's year with the Blue Hens saw him average 16.8 points per game in 36 games, earning him a four-star rating from 247 Sports and ultimately landing him with California this year for one final college ride.
Both Boozer (the other of Carlos' sons) and Pippen (the son of Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen) follow similar roads to social media stardom, having had fathers with storied NBA careers, while Trimble's path has been the most traditional of the lot, playing three years with the Tar Heels and seeing his production tick upward each year, from 1.8 PPG as a freshman to 5.2 two years ago and 11.6 PPG last season as a junior.
The story is much the same for Foster, who has been the resident veteran for Jon Scheyer's bunch in Durham, averaging 6.1 points per game across 65 games played with Duke, making 22 starts over his first two NCAA campaigns.
All five will look to guide their respective teams to the promised land this ACC basketball season, which seems easier said than done both Boozers and Foster, as Duke enters the year with the best ACC title odds on Bet365, at +175, while Trimble and the Tar Heels are third, at +600.
When you take a step farther outward and look at 2026 NCAA championship betting odds on FanDuel Sportsbook, you'll find the Blue Devils third nationally, at +1100, while Louisville (+2000), UNC (+4000), NC State (+5000), UVA (+8000) and Miami (+10000) are next in line in America's premier NCAA men's basketball conference.
