ANALYSIS
A rising junior, Hinson is expected to take a redshirt for the 2020-21 season to comply with NCAA transfer rules before debuting for the Cyclones in 2021-22, when he would have two years of eligibility remaining. The 6-foot-7 forward is a quality pickup for Iowa State this late in the offseason, as he was a full-time starter during his two years with the Rebels. Over 28 appearances in 2019-20, Hinson averaged 10.1 points, 4.6 boards, 1.6 treys and 1.4 assists in 30.6 minutes per contest.
