Coles (knee) committed Wednesday to TCU, joining the program as a transfer from Butler, Brandon Jenkins of 247Sports.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The 6-foot-7, 225-pound forward is a native of Denton, Tex., so he'll be returning closer to home to continue his career following one season at Butler. As a true freshman at Butler, Coles averaged 6.3 points and 3.3 rebounds in 17.7 minutes per game over six appearances (one start) before suffering a season-ending meniscus tear in early January. He's still in recovery mode from surgery, but he should be available early in the 2021-22 campaign for his new school.
