Not projected as a first-round selection of the 2025 NBA Draft, Toppin will use his junior season. Most importantly for Texas Tech, he will do so while enrolled at TTU. As a sophomore, Toppin logged 18.0 points per game on 53.9/32.6/67.7 shooting splits. Efficiency aside, he excelled enough to win the conference's Player of the Year Award. Now with expectations, which include cleaning up his outside shots and free throws, a healthy Toppin should be one of the 2025-26 NCAA season's best players.
