Cameron Rising

Rising had surgery on his knee in the offseason, an injury that plagued him throughout the season and eventually knocked him out of the Rose Bowl. Although he hasn’t participated in any team activities yet, he’s expected to start under center for the Utes in his final season of eligibility. Rising leaves it all on the field and get knocked about quite a bit, so injuries are all always a concern for the scrappy quarterback, but he has an uncanny nose for the win column. Rising threw for 3.034 yards and 26 touchdowns in 2022, and with a mostly-intact supporting cast, Rising should see similar results if he can stay healthy.
