ANALYSIS
During the first few weeks of Troy's 2023 season, Lewis struggled with tightness behind his left knee. Not wanting his 2023 season to end prematurely, he delayed an MRI until after what turned out to be a great campaign for him. The proceeding MRI revealed a mass, which doctors eventually diagnosed as a malignant bone tumor in his left femur. After undergoing surgery on April 3, Lewis will continue chemotherapy and have his availability status updated sometime before Troy's 2024 season begins.
