Schrader didn't join the Tigers as a heralded prospect -- he walked on -- but emerged as the lead back in 2022 and took a step toward stardom this season, racking up 276 carries for 1,617 yards and 14 touchdowns while adding 22 catches for 191 yards on 28 targets. He doesn't possess the top-end speed to run away from defenders, but Schrader displays the patience to let blocks develop and enough acceleration to notch some sizable gains. He was also 10th in the country in yards after contact, though his 277 rush attempts are matched by few others, and his 3.07 yards after contact per attempt aren't particularly good. He may hear his name called during the draft, but his athleticism may not jump off the charts enough to warrant an early-round pick.
