Allar took over under center with the Nittany Lions already up 31-7 midway through the third quarter. The talented freshman signal-caller went on to complete two passing touchdowns of one and four yards to fellow second-stringers Harrison Wallace III and Theo Johnson in the fourth quarter. Allar has now been inserted during garbage time in five of Penn State's last eight games, and he's unlikely to threaten sixth-year senior Sean Clifford for the team's starting job heading into this coming Saturday's contest versus Maryland.
