Finds end zone
December 22, 2022
Hall caught nine passes for 138 yards and a touchdown Wednesday in the New Orleans Bowl against South Alabama.
ANALYSIS
The Western Michigan transfer took a bit of time to work into the lineup, but over the final four games of the season he had 32 catches for 442 yards and four scores. If he returns for 2023, he could be in for a huge season with Austin Reed back under center.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2023
2019
Joining Western Kentucky after a solid season at Western Michigan, Hall had 68 catches for 869 yards and six scores. However, it took him a little time to get in the grove with his new team. Over the final six games of the season he had 39 catches for 584 yards and five touchdowns. He ended up neck-and-neck with Daewood Davis as the number-two receiver for the Hilltoppers, behind the clear top guy Malachi Corley. Well, while Corley is back, Davis is now trying to make it in the NFL. That, combined with Hall’s clear uptick in production down the stretch, is highly encouraging. This is a passing game that can yield more than one high-level fantasy receiver. Maybe hitting 1,000 yards is too much to ask with Corley around, but Austin Reed threw 40 touchdowns in 2022, and those touchdowns have to be distributed somehow. Hall is a good bet to put up top-receiver numbers as a secondary guy. That’s the power of this passing game.
Hall flashed potential as a freshman last year, averaging 15.5 yards per catch on his 11 catches. A bigger role is in the cards this year, with Jayden Reed transferring to Michigan State and leaving behind team-leading production (56 receptions for 797 yards and eight touchdowns). Keep an eye on Hall in deeper fantasy leagues heading into the season.
