2025 Fantasy Outlook
While the Tigers flaunted a Heisman-winning quarterback under center in 2023, Taylor didn't exactly flourish in 2023, seeing his production trail off slightly to 36 catches for just 348 yards and a single touchdown. Enter Garrett Nussmeier, who is far from devoid of experience, and the signal-caller put his talent on display in the bowl game against Wisconsin to close out 2023, throwing for 395 yards and three touchdowns. Taylor posted season-best totals in the game, racking up seven grabs for 88 yards. Therein lies why optimism abounds for a breakout year from Taylor in 2024. Not only is there a changing of the guard under center, but two first-round talents in Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas leave the wide receiver room, opening additional targets. The Tigers' offense may not challenge Oregon for the most points in FBS again in 2024, but it'll still be an above-average unit, and Taylor seems bound for a heavier workload, giving him the fantasy upside of a TE1.
