2023 Fantasy Outlook
Pat Garwo proved to be one of the bigger fantasy busts in 2022. Coming off a breakout junior season that saw him average 5.1 ypc, top 1,000 yards and score seven times, Garwo managed just 403 yards, 3.1 ypc and three scores last season. While he’s hardly to blame as the Eagles’ rushing attack was non-existent all season, averaging just 2.1 ypc overall behind a porous offensive line, the end result was ugly. He saw double-digit carries just six times and topped 65 yards just three times. Garwo did show progress as a receiver however, snagging 29 balls after just 13 in his previous three years on the Hill. For what he’ll likely cost you on draft day, Garwo has all the makings of a late round sleeper/bounceback player. The Eagles have attempted to revamp their blocking and there seems to be little in terms of competition for backfield touches, though Western Kentucky transfer Kyle Robichaux does offer a bigger body. A likely inexpensive late round pick, Garwo can be drafted in national leagues for depth purposes with the potential to be more. Read Past Outlooks

Racks up 25 total yards
Garwo (leg) rushed three times for 15 catches and added two catches for yards in Saturday's 56-28 loss to Louisville.
ANALYSIS
Garwo returned to action after a one-game absence, and although his yardage total wasn't high, he looked active in a backup role. He has 15 carries for 73 yards and three catches (on four targets) for 15 yards in three appearances this season.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2022
2021
With starting quarterback Phil Jurkovec out for the majority of the season in 2021, Garwo became the main source of offense. Despite being the focus of defenses Garwo still managed to put up over 1,000 yards rushing with 5.1 yards per carry for the season. With Jurkovec back for the 2022 season defenses should be forced to play more honest, opening things up for Garwo on the ground, allowing him to have an even bigger season this year.
