Phillip Brooks

Brooks returns as the only proven wide receiver for the Wildcats in 2023 for starting quarterback Will Howard. Brooks and Howard are quite familiar with one another as the senior receiver hauled in 45 catches on 78 targets for 587 yards and four touchdowns last year. Other receivers for the Wildcats include RJ Garcia (just seven catches last season) and Iowa transfer Keagan Johnson (just two catches in 2022). Expect Brooks and tight end Ben Sinnott (31 catches for 447 yards and four touchdowns) to be the top two targets for Howard as the Wildcats contend for back-to-back Big 12 titles.
