It’s no surprise that Deion Sanders’ son followed him to Colorado, where he will take over duties at quarterback. Several other Jackson State players also entered the transfer portal to join their head coach, and we should expect to see a very different team in Fort Collins. Sanders should prove to be a solid upgrade at quarterback, a position that has been a deficiency for the program in recent years. Sanders threw for a whopping 40 touchdowns against only six interceptions for Jackson State in 2022, and sported an impressive 70.3 percent of his passes.
