2018 Fantasy Outlook
A fifth-round pick in the 2018 draft, Wilkins broke out in his final season at Mississippi, leaving would-be tacklers in the dust to gain yards in big chunks. More than 10 percent of his runs last year went for at least 15 yards, a better rate than Alvin Kamara's NFL-leading 9.2 percent. At 6-1, 217, Wilkins doesn't run with much power and doesn't gain many yards after contact. He's also unproven as a receiver and his pass-protection skills need a lot of work, potentially limiting his snaps as a pro. Indianapolis heads into the season without an established lead back, opening the door for Wilkins to carve out a big role with an impressive training camp, but he could just as easily find himself stuck firmly on the bench behind Marlon Mack, Robert Turbin and Nyheim Hines. ANALYSIS
Wilkins joined the Colts as a fifth-round pick in 2018 and showed some promise to start the year. His workload declined in the second half, leading to his modest stats. He ended the season as the No. 3 running back behind Marlon Mack and Nyheim Hines, and he'll need to work his way up the depth chart in 2019 in order to have much fantasy value.
