2025 Fantasy Outlook
Buffalo's decision to draft Hairston at No. 30 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft provides the team with some much-needed speed at outside cornerback, though the rookie's light 5-foot-11, 183-pound frame could cause him some issues tackling at the NFL level. Still, a 4.28 40-yard dash paints the picture of Harrison as a cornerback capable of thriving in man coverage downfield, a skill set desperately needed for a Bills team hoping to emerge victorious in the AFC. Suffers non-contact knee injury
Hairston (knee) left Tuesday's practice early due to an apparent non-contact injury, WKBW reports.
ANALYSIS
Hairston took a seat on the turf roughly 50 minutes into Tuesday's practice, and after having his right knee examined by a trainer, he was helped to his feet and off the field, per Ralph Ventre of SI.com. The Bills haven't yet released an update on the rookie first-round pick's health, and it's possible more information won't arrive until after Hairston has undergone further testing. The rookie dealt with a hamstring injury during mandatory minicamp, but he had been cleared to practice when training camp opened.

Not locked in as starter
Hairston will have to compete for a starting role for the Bills to begin the 2025 season, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The Bills selected Hairston out of Kentucky with the 30th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, suggesting he could have an immediate starting role. That could still be the case, though Buscaglia suggests that Tre'Davious White will push Hairston due to the former's familiarity with Buffalo's defensive scheme. Buscaglia also noted that Hairston was being coached hard during mandatory minicamp in an attempt to get him fully up to speed at the pro level.
