2024 Fantasy Outlook
Zaccheaus will be on his third team in as many seasons in 2024 after catching 10 passes in 17 games for the Eagles last year and ultimately failing to unseat Quez Watkins from the No. 3 role. The 27-year-old might have another chance to compete for No. 3 status in Washington, where the Commanders otherwise appear to have Luke McCaffrey and Dyami Brown competing for regular roles behind top receiver Terry McLaurin. It was only two years ago that Zaccheaus caught 40 passes for 533 yards as a 13-game starter for Atlanta, but he probably profiles best as a fourth or fifth receiver. Read Past Outlooks
RANKS
Targeted three times
Zaccheaus caught one of three targets for 10 yards in a 34-13 win over the Browns on Sunday.
ANALYSIS
Zaccheaus actually got more playing time than he had the week before when he was targeted on six of his nine routes and caught all six passes for 85 yards. With fellow wideout Noah Brown (groin) inactive, Zaccheaus' snap share jumped from 25 percent in Week 4 to 51 percent in Week 5. With or without Brown in the lineup, none of Washington's wideouts besides Terry McLaurin will be a good bet to draw more than three or four targets Week 6 at Baltimore.

Zaccheaus' numbers have improved in each of his four years in the NFL, resulting in a trio of touchdowns and career highs in targets (61), receptions (40) and receiving yards (533) last season. Each of those marks ranked second on the Falcons behind Drake London, but Zacchaeus departed for the Eagles in free agency this offseason. The move means Zaccheaus will be competing with Quez Watkins for the third receiver job, a role worth less in Philadelphia than most places due to the presence of A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. Watkins caught just 33 passes as the team's third wideout in 2022, while since departed fourth option Zach Pascal had just 15 catches.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Set to compete for No. 3 role
Zaccheaus, who agreed to a contract with the Eagles on Wednesday, should have a chance to secure Philadelphia's No. 3 receiver role, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Zaccheaus carved out a progressively bigger role in Atlanta over his first four seasons after latching on with the organization as an undrafted free agent out of Virginia in 2019, topping out at 40 receptions for 533 yards and three touchdowns across 17 games in 2022. In Philadelphia, the 25-year-old could have a chance to unseat current third receiver Quez Watkins, who saw a downturn in production last season compared to 2021.
