2025 Fantasy Outlook
Green had an impressive rookie season after being selected in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft. He worked almost exclusively on special teams through five weeks before taking over as a primary outside corner for the rest of the campaign. Green struggled at times, but he held his own overall and will now be asked to step up in his second year to replace Charvarius Ward. Green will also face pressure from offseason addition Tre Brown, but he should be the preferred option heading into training camp. Read Past Outlooks
Back practicing
Green (hamstring) participated during Tuesday's training camp practice, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Green suffered a hamstring injury earlier in training camp that kept him sidelined for a few weeks, but he now appears to be back to full strength as the regular season approaches. Unless he suffers some sort of setback, he projects to start at one of the 49ers corner spots come Week 1 at Seattle.

The 49ers finally decided to address the team's glaring concern regarding defensive back depth by selecting Green in the second round of this year's draft. The Florida State product was a standout player in college who could turn out to be a steal if his slight build (6-0, 186 pounds) doesn't hold him back at the pro level. Green's best shot to see the field as a rookie would be to win the 49ers' nickel job out of training camp.
