Washington Commanders
2025 Fantasy Outlook
Arguably Washington's best blocker, Cosmi mostly played right tackle during his first three NFL seasons before moving to right guard full-time in 2024. He then suffered an ACL tear during the playoffs, making him uncertain for the start of 2025. Read Past Outlooks
Signed a four-year, $74 million contract with the Commanders in September of 2024.
Activated from PUP list

Knee - ACL
October 18, 2025
The Commanders activated Cosmi (knee) from the reserve/PUP list Saturday, but he remains questionable to play Sunday against the Cowboys.
ANALYSIS
Cosmi is in the final stages of his recovery from a torn ACL that he suffered during the Commanders' playoff run in January. His activation from the PUP list indicates he is on track to play in Week 7, and if he is cleared to play, he'll likely take over as the starting right guard while Andrew Wylie reverts to a reserve role.

2021
Cosmi is a 2021 second-round pick with experience starting at right tackle and guard. It looks like he'll be at right guard this year after the Commanders signed RT Andrew Wylie in the offseason.
A 2021 second-round pick, Cosmi started nine games as a rookie and is back as the starting right tackles for 2022. He could eventually move to left tackle, though starter Charles Leno is under contract for three more seasons.
Cosmi, a rookie second-round pick, is expected to start at right tackle from Day 1. Washington even got rid of Morgan Moses, who had been a quality starter at RT for the past half decade.

Could start against Eagles
OGWashington Commanders
December 18, 2021
Cosmi is dealing with a hip problem but has a chance to start Tuesday against the Eagles, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Cosmi, a second-round pick in this year's draft, started six games while healthy this season, so his return to the lineup could provide a significant boost. He would likely be inserted straight away into the lineup since his replacement, Cornelius Lucas, is one of several players on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
