2024 Fantasy Outlook
Health concerns regarding a heart condition caused Tucker to go undrafted in 2023, but his performance at Syracuse hinted at a potentially productive NFL career. Instead, he was nearly invisible as a rookie behind Rachaad White in the Buccaneers' backfield, and once Chase Edmonds got healthy, almost all of Tucker's snaps came on special teams. He lacks the skills to contribute on passing downs, but Tucker's balance, power and elusiveness should allow him to gain yards after contact. Tampa Bay drafted Bucky Irving in the fourth round in 2024, making Tucker's path to a roster spot even tougher. Read Past Outlooks

Plays complementary role Monday
RBTampa Bay Buccaneers
October 21, 2024
Tucker rushed five times for 29 yards and brought in one of two targets for nine yards in the Buccaneers' 41-31 loss to the Ravens on Monday.
ANALYSIS
Head coach Todd Bowles had pledged to afford all three of his talented running backs some work Monday night, and he made good on it by even getting Tucker involved in a modest complementary role. The second-year back was solid with his limited opportunities, but backfield mates Rachaad White and Bucky Irving made bigger marks with two receiving touchdowns and a rushing score, respectively. Tucker's workload is the least reliable of the running back room, but he should be able to garner snaps again in a Week 8 home matchup against the Falcons.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
Tucker makes for a high-pedigree undrafted free agent, as he racked up 2,556 rushing yards, 509 receiving yards and 27 total touchdowns over his last two seasons at Syracuse. The compactly built rookie (5-9, 207) should have his fair share of reps during training camp and preseason games, but he'll have no shortage of competition for a depth running back role considering the presence of holdovers Ke'Shawn Vaughn and Patrick Laird, as well as fellow UDFA Ronnie Brown.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could be thrust into larger role
RBTampa Bay Buccaneers
September 28, 2024
Tucker may see a significant uptick in offensive snaps due to both Rachaad White and Bucky Irving being listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Eagles, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Irving was limited in two practices and a DNP in another this week due to a hamstring injury, while White was added to Saturday's injury report due to an illness, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. Tucker has played just three offensive snaps this season and turned his lone carry into four yards, but the undrafted rookie could be in line for significant playing time if White and/or Irving were unable to play Sunday.
